    'Took a water aerobics class today at the pool - the instructor was 90! She was awesome! Her name was Skipper, and can I tell you she ran a tight ship! :)

    Just wanted to put out a recommendation for a GREAT book I read on weight loss titled "The Four Day Win." Superb read on the subject - you can't help but feel empowered by the information.

    I suppose my inspiration comes from hiking in the mountains. The quiet combined with my movement through the woods has a quieting affect on my mind, allowing for inspiration to come forward.

    @moghedien 'Love 40:30:30! My doctor put me on that years ago to avoid blood sugar spikes. I have not been faithful to it and have gained weight as a result. It really is a great diet, but definitely challenging from a vegan perspective - I don't know that I could do it vegan. Good luck! :)

      Thanks! I will do the best I can -- and if I screw up, then so be it! At least I'll be back on track when I get home. (As long as I can prep my own meals, it's easy. I've been vegan for 7 years, so it's normal for me. :) My dr didn't specifically recommend the 40:30:30, but he did suggest that I watch my carb intake when I gained weight from meds. OTOH, my insulin-resistant mom is trying the plan, and loves it: her blood sugar levels are great now, & she's losing weight!
