      i badly want to buy a bike, and i would love to be able to walk places. but even if i didn't have 3 kids which make that impossible, it's so unsafe in the world today i'd be afraid to walk too far without weapons. :(

      Wish I lived close enough to work to bike...(or wan't such a wimp about the BIG hills between home and work). Good for you, good for the environment, good for your wallet!!

      The hills are killer. But I figure they will get me in good shape, which is the point, right? I got my bike on Walmart - it was a great deal and honestly, it has paid for itself in the transit costs alone.

      I am going to take my bike out when the weather gets better here which might be Saturday or Sunday , I have a park right across the street from here so no excuses are accepted
