    back on slimkicker today...been loosing weight steadily for 6 or 7 months but I've hit a slump and i've been bouncin up and down between the same two weights so I think i need an extra kick to get me back on the right track!

    So a couple of months ago I posted how I'd run my first 1k on the treadmill without stopping and I was ecstatic! And now today I just ran .8 of a mile on the road (which personally I find more difficult than running on the treadmill! maybe it's just me!) I am quite proud of myself considering that about two months ago I couldn't run for a full minute on the treadmill let alone on the road (WITH HILLS I MIGHT ADD!!...well one hill lol!)

    seriously struggling just seems no matter what I do my weight doesn't change...then I get disheartened and I just eat whatever I want putting me back at square one...it's so damn frustrating!

    I ran for a full kilometer today..this might seem small and it is but it's HUGE for me!!running for a full ten minutes without collapsing/vomiting???thats like a damn marathon for me!I'm so excited that I'm actually feeling the difference!!serious motavation to keep going!!

    I started weighing my portions today and after spending quite a long time prior to this trying to loose weight and failing I think I may have found the issue! When weighing my "normal" portions they were a lot more then I thought they would be! So hopefully if I start weighing all my portions a few pounds should dissolve because of that....hopefully!!now just to keep up my exercise!

    so after a particularly horrible hangover yesterday I have to decided to kick one of my biggest vices..I've almost cut out chocolate completely but beer is contributing a huge amount of calories at least once a week..I feel like doing this is really the start of a new beginning hopefully the absence of beer will shift a few extra pounds!

    went for a 2 hour walk in the sun along the cliffs in a village near my house!took hundreds of photos, got exercise and sun! lovely!

      I agree the road is much harder. Not sure why, cause even when I do inclines on the treadmill they feel easy. Possibly the uneven ground is the difference cause my ankles sure get a work out to stay steady.

      It really is! I can run 2.5k easily on the treadmill but if I tried to do that on the road...well I'd be in serious trouble to say the least! I know the treadmill does good but I still feel a little like I'm cheating a little when I use it (which is ridiculous obvs!)

      Hey, kind of gave up on the whole calorie counting thing there for well 9 days apparently. thanks! I agree took a step back and decided I needed to do this and that I'd probably need some help so I've signed up fro a weight loss group hopefully being having someone watch over me might make me keep going and refuse to quit!Again thanks for replying to me!

      I remember when I discovered I could run a mile without stopping at all. It was exhilarating. Congratulations, and good luck! (BTW, don't increase your mileage too quickly because you could really hurt yourself)

      I know this is not a good comment but beer is really mean on the tummy. I'd rather drink "hard" drinks than beer because of the calories. :p

      Start buying craft beer! The fact that it's more expensive usually keeps you from drinking more than one or two bottles. Also, they are far more satisfying than your average macros to the point where you don't even WANT more than one or two. I'd recommend North Coast's Old Rasputin!

      Oh no the hard drinks are just not a good idea lol so I figure none is an easier option!or just one or two of those beers your talking about!I'll have to try them and see! It's just not satisfying you know I always feel bad for the unnecessary calories and I'm not fond of the sore head either!
