    Was off from work for 6 days for a wedding/vacation and I just went back to the gym again today. It was great, I wish I had gone while I was home.

    Said no to applebee's tonight and 2 different wing night invites last night and went to gym instead! Still over on carbs and sugar though. I need to work on that and fat :(

    I need to get back on track. I joined a challenge to lose 5lbs in like a month or something and I've been eating junk... I need to get back on track with vegetables and fruits. I also definitely need to workout 5 or more times a week. I am a slacker!

    I went for a 2 mile walk and did 1hr of zumba on my wii and it seems I have been staying below my calories for the day even though I think I eat a lot!

    I am on a new weight loss medicine and every other day I am trying to eat just fruits and vegetables and I've lost 5lbs! 7 more to go to be under 200lbs! I've been trying to this for like 10yrs!

    I did zumba for 123mins ans burned 1,173 calories! Also, not so inspirational, I had a small pumpkin spiced latte today... Iced. It was so good. Love fall and anything pumpkin!

    I love that I don't need to put the heat on, just do zumba on my wii for 107 mins and I am warm and I burned 935 calories! Oh yeah!

    My Dr. said that women should have less than 25grams of sugar a day... I am finding it hard enough to stay below 36!! Any thoughts or suggestions? I am at 38 today and I am like woohoo!

    So, I was going to workout, but I am not in the mood to try and figure out why the wii isn't working... So, I guess I will just shower, eat better tomorrow and bust my ass at work like I normally do on top of working out as well most of the time...

    I have lost the 4lbs that I gained when I moved! Also I did 121 mins of zumba today! Yay me!! 10 more pounds to lose towards my short term goal and prob 50+ after that ugh!

    What an amazing weather we had today. I went for a 3.2 mile walk with my roommate and so far I have not gone over on sugar! :)

    Well. I have been consistently staying under my calories for the day, but I am constantly going over on sugar. Also I thought cottage cheese was a good source of protein. My dr. tells me to eat it, yet slimkicker isn't a fan and tells me to go to hemp, almond or coconut milk products. Why is that?

    I am not sure if this is exactly inspirational, but I logged food that I wish I hadn't eaten, because I was doing so well. I must say it was worth it though, but I may just have to skip a reward next time or log some exercise for sure today! I will definitely stay on track the rest of the day and week. Just had the worst craving for a chocolate/pb cookie!

      Kudos on the willpower. You can totally eat out, it's all about the choices you make. Safe bet...grilled chicken, steamed veggies, side salad...all sauce and dressings on the side. You still have to live life, and think of your journey as a lifestyle change, not diet! ;)

    @summerose I stopped logging stuff yesterday. I ate so much I couldn't even remember. Party in Albany and Deno's. Didn't do great so far today either even though I didn't eat a whole heck of a lot! :(

      Phentermine is the generic, I would talk to your dr 1st. It's a controlled substance. I am fine on it, but I am sure it reacts differently with different people. It's definitely worth trying!

      i believe that only refers to added sugars, not ones found naturally in fruit and vegetables.

      Yeah, but when I don't eat added sugars, they still count ones in fruit. Oh well today I deserved to go over because I was bad haha. Margarita with blood orange soda and a frosted brownie... Tomorrow I will do my best to behave :)

      I walk, run around like crazy at work, lift light weights 2-3 times a week. Do zumba on my wii 4-5. This week I have skipped a real workout 3 days in a row and I am eating shitty. Time to get back on track. :)

      yeah I have a wii and I have a zumba disk. It tracks your workouts and progress. It shows calories burned and accuracy of steps. It's really motivational! I am addicted!

      Some people think that milk products are bad for you. They are hard on some people, but not everyone. I each a lot of trim cottage cheese - it's one of the few things i can stand to eat for a quick cold breakfast besides my beloved cereal :) I usually mix in something like tomatoes, green onions, cilantro, or alternative fruit like berries.

      It also has a lot of sodium but I too eat it often. I prefer it as a protein over eating too many eggs or very much meat.

      Yeah I tholahught it was a decent protein instead of meat and eggs all the time... It's so hard to strike a healthy balance, because what is healthy doesn't seem consistent with Dr's and fitness experts across the board. Blah!
