    I'm so excited - the foot and knee are both doing well. I'm going to try a modified crossfit session this weekend and see how it goes!

    Finally able to do a little running after my foot/knee injury - 10 minutes a few days ago, 15 yesterday. No problems, but I'm easing in anyway. I'm pretty excited to get back to it!

    Lunch today - Sauteed zucchini and onions, throw in a can of rinsed chickpeas at the end of the cooking and a touch a soy sauce for flavor. Filling, high in fiber, lots of protein, and delicious!

    Physical Therapy is going well and I'm finally making progress on recovery! She's got me doing strange things like walking on my heels, walking on my toes, walking heel to toe, hopscotch, and grapevines. I'll be good to go in no time (and by no time I mean a month maybe).

    Got a body composition meter today so that I can concentrate on body fat loss rather than weight loss! This is particularly important if you're putting on muscle, which weighs more than the fat you are losing.

    I've been surprised how much sugar and how many carbs I've been consuming on days when I don't actively think about it. New resolution: get the carbs/protein/fiber ratios in balance!

      Amazon has a number of options for body composition scales. It seems to correspond pretty well to the number I was given when I had it measured at the local gym using calipers. In the end, the accuracy of the scale at measuring bodyfat doesn't matter as much as the consistency of the scale to measure it the same way (It can be off by a few percentage points as long as its always off the same amount) - I got the scale so that I can measure change over time, which I think will be a useful tool!

      This is particularly helpful since I am fairly close to my goal weight and doing a lot of muscle building in crossfit. I'd hate to think I was gaining a bunch of fat weight if I'm actually just gaining muscle!

      I have a scale that does body fat and haven't used it in years - in fact I'll have to pull out the manual. lol. Thanks for the reminder! I've been exercising consistently and have attributed my lack of weight loss to muscle gain. I hope I'm not in for a rude awakening!!!

      Yeah! I've lost two pounds while benched, but sadly it just doesn't seem possible to earn as much on food as you do on activity...which is weird for me because I think that diet is harder than activity!

      I am doing well!! I usually do pretty well on fiber. :) For dinner we had green beans, rotisserie chicken (mojo flavored) and Balsamic and parmesan roasted cauliflower (http://www.eatingwell.com/recipes/balsamic_parmesan_roasted_cauliflower.html) which was DELICIOUS. It was a new recipe we hadn't had before. Definitely will have again. I just ate 3 cups of cauliflower and was sad when it was done!

      Oh, no! You can't note that on this site. I got lots of points for doing 45 weighted squats, 45 assisted pullups and 45 dips in crossfit this morning! Plus by 60 minute round trip walking to and from the office!

    @slothrangler Haha. I am head for a few minutes. Until you enter your dinner. I'm sure it will be downhill from there....we had swordfish (mmmmm), steamed spinach, some rice, and some black beans (with lime juice, cilantro and a sprinkle of cojita cheese). It was delicious and filling.

      That sounds soo tasty!!! Is there a recipe? Maybe Cole and I can make that. I was a bad girl. I had fried chicken wings and an apple. I get a cadbury later! So...not the healthiest meal. Didn't get myveggies today.
