    Got my "barefoot" running shoes today! Following the directions and taking it slow, just walking around in them to start.

    Skipped the ice cream after reading the label at Sunday family dinner, had one homemade cookie when I got home instead. No corn syrup, trans fats, fillers, preservatives!

    I removed "addictive" FB apps/games which distracted from my fitness goals; they're being replaced by fitness games & other exercise. Plus more/better sleep!

      I love them so much! Check out Chi running if you plan to run in them. I didn't think I would be able to use them for regular jogging (vs. running on grass) until I found the chi-running site, which helped me understand good running technique that you can do fast or slow. Still, I would work yourself into it as you start using muscles in your calves and feet that you haven't used for a while if you use them for running and jogging. Enjoy!

      Go you! I have a huge weak spot for ice cream but I haven't had any for a loooong time now - discovered I could replace it healthily by throwing a frozen banana and some 0% fat greek yoghurt into the blender (add in peanut butter, honey, chocolate chips if it's not already delicious enough)
